How do you make 48 merging
companies feel unified?
With revenues of $11bn and a staff count of more than 40,000 across 57 countries, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), is a global technology business with considerable scale and complexity. The brief was to create one unified global NTT brand that would give its clients access to the full breadth of NTT’s industry-leading products, innovations and services which address the business needs of a diverse client base.

We championed a human approach which emanates from the belief that only when humans collaborate can they truly address the complex technology issues that their clients face every day.
Kamekura Film
Yusaku Kamekura’s beautiful NTT symbol is an equity that NTT hold on to dearly. So with the launch of the merger we created a video celebrating the mark and mark maker’s rich heritage.



Saying hello.
We created internal and external communications launch plans to help engage all 40,000 employees with the benefits of the new merger, creating a series of films, staff playbooks, microsite, online and social campaigns. Our new found palette, typeface and grid systems brought together this feeling of potential, agility and adaptability to life. This made it easy for the leadership team to tell the compelling new story of the NTT brand and its role in the world.
